Brett has been dealing with severe GVHD from the bone marrow transplant (BMT).
They have confirmed GVHD in his skin, gastrointestinal tract, liver and spleen.
He is heading to the PICU at Morgan-Stanley Presbyterian Children's Hospital of New York.
There he will participate in a clinical trial so he may receive Mesenchymal Stem Cells.
He will be in NYC for a minimum of four weeks.
This is the best chance he has to get control of the GVHD.
